Kvacksalvaren - The Quack

This mural, called The Quack, is by artist Henrik Ljusberg. He wanted to create something rooted in its surroundings — inspired by the area, the buildings nearby, and the history of the place itself.

Henrik Ljusberg is a photographer and painter, born and working in Östersund. His artistic practice often revolves around questions of place and man's relationship to his surroundings. Through photography, video and sound, he investigates stories that take shape in everyday life outside the larger urban environments. In his works, he explores the interaction between man, nature and history, where personal experiences and local stories take place.
